Data collected

• Order identifiers, amount, currency, payment status and the product purchased.
• Portal access grants, edition versions and download history.

Radical Geek does not receive or store your complete card number. Stripe handles payment details on its hosted checkout.

Why the data is used

Purchase and portal records are used to perform the contract, provide downloads, send secure access links, prevent duplicate fulfilment, handle refunds and maintain financial records. Security and audit records are used for legitimate interests in protecting customers and operating the service. Marketing communications require an appropriate consent or existing relationship.

Processors and international transfers

Relevant data may be processed by Stripe for payments, Google Cloud for hosting and email providers for transactional messages. Each provider applies its own safeguards and processing terms. Amazon controls data for purchases made on Amazon.

Retention

Financial records are retained for the periods required by tax and accounting law. Portal entitlement and download records are retained while access remains active and for a reasonable period afterwards to resolve payment, support and security issues. Expired magic links are retained only as short-lived security records.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or an objection to processing. You may withdraw analytics or marketing consent at any time. You can also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
